.NET Domain Names
When the Dot NET universal domain extension was first introduced in 1985, along with the first domains on the World Wide Web, it was meant to be used by Internet Service Providers or infrastructure companies. Taking into account that there were no particular stipulations about the usage of the top-level domain, though, .NET domains were bought and used for various purposes and by a great number of people. This TLD represents a great substitution for .COM, notably if the wanted domain with the latter TLD is not available for registration.
Grabbing a dot NET domain name with our firm is as easy as ABC and takes merely a couple of minutes, since we partner with an ICANN-approved registrar firm. You can get such a domain for a time interval between one and ten years, or, if you already own a domain, you can move it over to our company and we will renew it once the transfer process is finalized. Transfers are available for all domain names, which are at least 60 days old, provided that they are unlocked and that you have obtained an EPP transfer authorization code – security measures introduced by the .NET Registry against unauthorized transfers. You can easily edit the WHOIS contact info of the domain through your Control Panel interface, or, if you don’t want this information to be public at all, you can purchase a WHOIS protection service, so no one will be able to see your real contact information.
The .NET domain name extension supports internationalized names, so you can decide whether you want to aim at a specific country or area using a domain name in the native language, or the global web community – using a generic English name.
